Photo Story

 For my Photo Story, I did the bookstore with my main subject Rhonda Anglin. I chose this because it was easy to access, close to home, and very familiar. I went from documenting my subjects by interviewing them once or twice for a minute and just taking pictures for the rest of the time. The challenges I encountered were my laptop which had all my previous photos gone and had to take new ones, the bookstore when I always came almost always empty, and the subject moving around a lot. My favorite photo, I will say later. And I learned patience is key to a great photo. This is Rhonda Anglin on November 29th checking what the purchase a student just had at the bookstore. Rhonda has been working here ever since 2002, she stayed here because she loves meeting new students to talk to and meet. Rhonda talks about how students request snacks and how she accepts to make everyone want to see what other students like to have. Week 8

  November 20th, Tangent Oregon, The Spiderweb, the green leaves showing the tiny thin spiderweb compliments why the spider isn't at its nest.  November 24th Tangent, the fog of trees, the line with trees, but you can't see the end of it, where it goes to in the morning, no one knows, the trees been here for 5 years now, growing steadily. November 25th, the morning fog blocks the cars in tangent, obscuring the view of drivers making some go slow and some going slower while turning, the mailman stops to avoid hitting unsuspecting people.

Week 6

  November 11th, trees lose their leaves while the leaves themselves lose their green tint and turn pink and brown, the cold wind in the courtyard of LBCC campus hits hard, the wooden bird nests lay rest with nothing inside. November 11th, a trashcan without any trash around but leaves, LBCC is very clean on campus, you can find multiple trash cans near the courtyard, but this is the only one surrounded by the fall leaves. November 14, Kalie donating a full amount of blood, she as a student decided to want to donate in the goodness of her heart, Kalie sat there not wincing at any needle that got put into her and took it with a stoic face, Kalie will be going home and drinking lots of water.

Week 5

  Hunter Niedens on October 26th playing a guitar following steps on the music "Seven Nation Army" with his group at LBCC near the cafeteria, he finished it by repeating the song 10-20 times just to have one part correct and transition to another part.  Hunter Nieden is a music artist in a club currently the head of this club, he plays guitar, listen to music and chat about what cord to use or recite on certian songs, He decided to make the guitar club because of a friend that also likes guitars, this is not an official club, more like a get together. He loved guitar since he was young and decided to try being serious about it in highschool. He joined the music class to play guitars.

Week 4

Mason Henderson on his way to deliver McDonalds as a door dasher on October 16th in Albany at Songbird Village. He Likes to play Overwatch, but his favorite game right now is Binding of Issac. His college is payed for by his mother, in hopes for him to pass everything while working on his 3 classes. Hes been working here for about 2 years, and still going. The only reason he picked up this job was to meet new people and freedom. If hes not doing anything, he'll go to his girlfriends house. Auvri Kreger, student at memorial middle school studying for a test about frogs, taken at Auvri's home in Tangent. She really likes art taking after her father, she dislikes studying a lot. She really does want to be an artist just like her father. Auvri does not like being a student at all, after she does some time studying, she goes and play video games such as Fortnite or Roblox. October 12th.

Week 3

  The guy made a couple of burgers from the menu at LBCC cafe on 10/11/23. There were 2 orders of burgers and he was the only one making them. At the LBCC cafe, these people are very busy organizing these orders so they don't get mixed up. The boy is yelling for a name. In the LBCC cafe, there was a mixup in orders and a little confusion because of an order that someone made.

Week 2 Photos

  From left to right, Lena Spencer and Chris Linn interact with high school students at the LBCC Industrial section on October 6. High school students were looking to see what LBCC had to offer. At LBCC golf driver takes supplies to resupply vendors for high school students in the industrial section such as candy and other prizes. A vendor making high school students spin the wheel to get prizes such as pencils and candies. Staff were busy because many high school students lined up all hours when they were there.
